Teach us men how to feel, we want to listen. I want to see men crying like babies. Show us how to shed our skin and crack our shells. Help us evolve from axe-wielding savages to flower-picking monks. Women know that softness is strength. You ask questions we dare not ask. You support each other. You have a sense of curiosity that comes from a sincere feeling of respect for the other and an honest interest in their well-being. Your motherly instinct is what makes you superior to us. Teach us that which is natural to you. We want to know. We need to know. We men are in a crisis and need your support. We've always needed the support of women, but now we need it more than ever. All men secretly love talking of how they feel to women. Not because we look for our mothers, but because we know that most men are not tuned to understanding the nuances of our emotions. Although we might not show it, we too have nuance. Hidden somewhere far behind our pride and our conditioning that being blunt is being a man. Like everyone, we need to be understood. Being understood fully is being connected to the outside world. We thirst for connection.
