Transcend belief through action.

We've all heard the phrase "happiness is a choice". But for most of us, it is a very hard choice. We might choose to be happy one day but in another, we feel how our usual dissatisfaction catches up with us. Why is that? We suffer from limiting beliefs, which in turn create fear.

Let's say you fear judgment. When you are judged, you are not loved. So the fear of judgment is not the whole story. Fearing judgment means that you fear not being loved. The fear of not being loved comes from the pain of not being loved. We all need to be loved. We all need to be our own lovers. Even though the pain of not being loved wasn't our choice, it is our responsibility to believe in ourselves and to alleviate the pain of not being loved. The whole problem, of course, is that the belief of not being loved is in the way.

The fears arising from our limiting beliefs paralyze us and inhibit our ability to take action. Action, however, is precisely that which will help us transcend our fear. Through action, we show ourselves that we are capable of more than what our belief tells us we are capable of. Start small and start now. Anything will do. One step at a time, take actions that aren't consistent with your limiting beliefs. Seeing that you are capable of these actions will provide you with great satisfaction. You will feel empowered. The more you prove to yourself, through action, that the limiting belief you hold is not real, the faster it will fade away.
